Rick Erling is a Certified Management Consultant and Certified Executive Coach at The CxO Group, LLC, a Dallas, Texas based business coaching firm that specializes in integrating sales process, marketing methodology, corporate strategies and financial management to maximize corporate revenue growth.

Since his arrival in January 2007, Rick has overseen a diverse mix of key projects with clients on 3 continents and 6 time zones. 50% year over year client growth is typical, and doubling sales and profits is almost common. Rick has worked with divisions of very large companies like Raytheon, Corning, and Administaff, as well as hundreds of businesses whose names you’ll never recognize, but whose entrepreneurial business owners have pocketed more than $300 million in increased profits and proceeds from sales.

Before joining The CxO Group, Rick spent over 20 years in senior corporate leadership positions and as a student of Value Forward methodology. In the 1990's, Rick's professional reputation was first validated by becoming nationally recognized as a manufacturing evangelist at Textron and Intergraph Corporation. Following into the 2000's, Rick was a driving force in growth, and increasing revenue at Siemens PLM (UGS) , and HP Enterprise Services (EDS). More recently, at Cincom Systems and at Tecnomatix where he reported to the President & General Manager of North America Operations, Rick had overall responsibility for setting the strategy, and driving execution in establishing new selling, partnership, and distribution channels.

His book "CEO Success Strategies, Strategy is Important, but Execution is Better" was published in 2010 as well as dozens of articles, that mention him and the methodologies he follows have appeared in The Bottom Line, Investor’s Daily, the New York Times, Fox News, Selling Power Magazine, Sales and Marketing Magazine, CIO Magazine, CFO Magazine, and Entrepreneur Magazine, among other places.

Rick is also publisher of The CxO Group e-Newsletter™ (www.thecxonews.com), a national best practices thought leader publication focused on Sales, Marketing and Business Strategies to Increase Revenue and a staff writer to the largest sales strategy newsletter in the world, the Value Forward News with over 160,000 opt-in subscribers in 110 countries.
